PRESTIGIOUS
DESIGNERSE

Behind its reflecting, dynamic façade, the building expands on eight levels.

The 200 m2 reception hall opens onto a cafeteria and a garden, through which one accesses to two resourceful annexes. On all levels, flexible and modular spaces benefit from a double exposure. The upper levels give onto large terraces. The 300 m2 rooftop is the ideal area for nomadic work, relaxing or receptions.

With its raw, minimalist decoration, its breathtaking views on Montmartre and the Eiffel Tour, le 104 RICHELIEU combines history and modernity, just like its district.

A project signed QUADRI FIORE ARCHITECTURE

Designed by architect Pierre Levé, the “Cour des Chiens” was the first ‘hôtel’ at 104 Rue de Richelieu, whereas the poultry yard was located at number 102. In 1775, the new owner asked Charles de Wailly, a great neo-classic style designer, renowned for the Théâtre de l’Odéon, the designing of two houses - a larger one at number 104 and a smaller one at 102… bought by Voltaire in 1778.

104 RUE DE RICHELIEU, A CREATIVE SPIRIT

On the upper levels, huge trays offer great surface flexibility. The last three levels have street sided terraces. The 8th level also has a vast 300 m2 green terrace overlooking Montmartre and the Eiffel Tour.

Both annexes overlook the garden and are suitable for nomadic or collaborative work.

  • TRAYS APPROX. 700m2
  • 522m2 OF GREEN SPACES
  • RATIO 1/9,5m2 PER PERSON

Fashion is also part of 104 RICHELIEU’s history - in 1839, the tailor shop ‘La Maison du Jockey Club’, is mentioned many times by Balzac in his book Béatrix.

In 1846, it became a novelty store for women’s fashion, and later in 1886, the Vidal sisters moved in to sell their world-famous Montpensier dresses.

GREEN HAVEN

«We designed the reception hall to match the new façade, in harmony with the rhythm of its glass ribbon and metal lines. We imagined an environment made of raw materials, such as the grooved concrete walls, in order to create a minimalist oasis, highlighting the furniture’s soft shapes and warm shades.

Visitors are naturally guided towards the café, as their senses are attracted by the graphic and natural atmosphere created by the association of many green plants. The rough oak deck flooring structures the volumes and contributes further to the connection with the indoor garden.»
